Hello, I have just got my BeoSystem 3 and been trying to set it up and have come across a few small problems which I hope someone here might have the answers to: (I have connected a BC2 via Masterlink - BS3 option V.OPT 2 and BC2 option A.OPT 0) 1) Currently I am only connecting a pair of Beolab 3s and would like to use them as normal stereo front speakers

I have to agree with 355f about LCDs in general. The only thing I have seen, which is better than a top-of-the-pops CRT like the Avant is a top-end plasma sourcing an HD movie. ... and furtunately that is what I have. ;-D But for SD content the Avant is brilliant - better than any flatscreen.

Thanks for helping clearing this up for me! I have heard that a commercial version of a panasonic is better than the normal "consumer" version. Why is it better? Is it purely that the Beo4 will work (as you write 355f ) or is it also that it is the commercial panels that are the panels used by B&O and therefore naturally works better with

Hi All & BeoSystem 3 owners (I am soon to be one) The panels that work really well with a BeoSystem 3 are the Panasonic D7, D8, & D9 - is this correct? Panasonic has come out with a new range of displays and more is to come over the summer - the panel is called G10 - how well will this panel work with a BeoSystem 3? Best guesses / opinions

I would also be interested if a sw update is possible. I have got a DAB version and I sometimes have problems with DVD initializing takes a couple of tries, and would also like a quicker response from the menu buttons. - Christian

Hi All, How many versions of a BeoSystem 3 exists? Could I by a BeoSystem 3 in Germany or Denmark and use it in the UK? or are the versions more regionally specific i.e. European model, North American model, and Japanese model? Kind Regards Christian

How much is a BS3 approx and are there different versions of it within the EU? I.e. a Danish, UK, German, etc? Could I buy one here in the UK and take it back to Denmark? Anyone with a UK pricelist somewhere? Kind Regards Christian

I love my BC2 though I would love a software update possibility - I think the loading of DVDs are bit slow and sensitive. Btw: I have a PS3, top-notch Panasonic Plasma, and Casino Royal Blue-Ray movie. (No BS3 sadly) But the Picture is awesome - and no normal DVD picture I have ever seen (even the best on B&O) comes close to that! Christian Saving

Also Is the timezone set correct? It is currently 10 AM here in London, but my posting says around 5 (AM/PM?) - I know the server might not be in a GMT zone, but currently it is either East Coast US or somewhere in Russia ... - Christian
