OK, so I've got a BeoTalk 1200 working nicely plugged into the phone socket along with BeoLine PSTN base, using the splitter supplied with BeoLine base. I've paired a BeoCom 6000 to the base, and it all works just fine. I can pick up the 6000 and get the handset icon in the display of BeoTalk 1200. And I can call this line from another phone

You see it acts like a DECT phone with its own extension but has a standard BT socket on the end, and you plug into this the Beotalk 1200. I stoped using mine as I need 6 handsets on the base

Thanks Peter - I suspected as much. I hear what you're saying re 1571 but that isn't such a great option for a business, plus the BeoTalk's ability to treat different callers differently would be extremely useful and not something you can do via 1571 AFAIK.
