There are other Danish Manufacturers of Hi-Fi,so the reviewer's reference to ' The Danes.....7ft high speakers....CD player..like an electric hob' is not necessarily referring to B & O.

More than likely,a small, elite group, but I would appreciate it if any owners would share their experience with the BV 7-55. Any problems with the usual shortcomings of LCD technology, viz motion blur, uneven backlighting, black level? I have read the FlatPanels review-is the bluish tint mentioned by them noticeable in a home environment(as compared to

Their TVs will no doubt have an appeal to existing owners of B & O equipment. The question is,do they appeal to people who don't own B & O equipment, and are in the market for a premium TV. Subsequent to the demise of Fujitsu, and Pioneer,TVs,the only alternative to B & O,for premium LCD TVs,is Loewe. Whether B & O,or Loewe,a fundamental
The BeoVision 7 has evolved to be truly competitive with plasma screens with the LED backlight.
Each to his own! Compared to LCD,no backlight, motion handling, and sitting off direct axis PQ,issues with a Plasma Panel.

The reason for my earlier post was not to compare an entry level Sharp against a BV7,which would have been ludicrous, but to indicate that a superior form of LED backlighting was available in a 40" Panel. Edge lit LED Panels are susceptible to clouding issues,as evidenced by reports of variability in the BV10-40 TVs. As for the superb PQ of the
TerryM Bang & Olufsen user only panels from Samsung to BeoVision 7 versions.
Hi, I appreciate that B & O obtain their LCD Panels from Samsung. My point is that edge lit LED panels are prone to uneven backlighting issues. In a TV of the price of the BV7,one would expect B & O to source the best
Citat: beobrian from B & O writes: BeoVision 7-40" MK V is already available in DK, so order a BeoVision 7-40 will be MK V you get delivered. The only upgrade here is the panel that has been 200Hz and higher contrast level. We always change the version when major hardware changes are made, such as panel changes
I won't be going for the LG, now I'm looking at the Sony BDP-S570. I just didn't like the LG, ugly interface and bad build quality. Oppo seems great but I can't seem to motivate the price difference and it lacks a few features that both the LG and Sony has. Sure, it has a great DVD-upscaler but the Sony

I can vouch for the quality of the Oppo BDP-83. However,as it is imported from the USA,the 'standard' machine is Region A for Blue-Ray,and Region 1 for DVD,playback. There is an All Regions hardware modification available. The Standard machine costs £511 including VAT,and Delivery Charge. The All Regions machine costs £591 including

If Picture Quality is a prime consideration, then the Oppo BDP- 83 is superb. Bear in mind that it is a Region 1 player. There is hardware modification that makes it an all regions machine. Have a look at the CRT Projectors website. Henry is extremely helpful.
