I'm aware many protector manufacturers offer compensation for damage - but I've yet to hear first hand of anybody getting any, ever. Either they work really well, or there's nothing to be protected from
Belkin UK's website quite clearly states the terms of it's warranty on surge protectors

Admittedly it was 4 years ago when I auditioned a BV9,but the major thing that concerned me was the reflectivity of the screen.I had to ask the dealer to turn off all their lights near the TV as it was so bad. Was this corrected in subsequent versions?

I personally would never buy a TV with an inbuilt blu-ray player,as it negates easy upgrade to a higher specced player. Is the player in the 7-55 multiregion for DVD/Blu-ray,or region locked? With the Oppo 93/95 one has the advantage of the hardware mod making it truly, and easily operated, multiregion. Additionally, the Oppo has a multitude of setup options

I would suggest that B & O could take a leaf out of Lumagen's book on how to issue firmware updates that are very easily user installed.

The latest commercial panels available from Panasonic are: 2D: PF20:42",50",58",and 65". PF12:85",and 103". 3D: VX200:85",and 103". So there is plenty of scope for B & O to expand their Plasma range.
I am not an owner of an 7-55 but I have extensively viewed it in a number of different showrooms, and have also heard the Beolab 7-6 and my thoughts as to it's sound are quite in contrast to yours. However, I have heard it (7-6) in an AV movie role with both Beolab 5's and Beolab 9's - not on it's

Due to unforseen circumstances, today has been the first opportunity I have had to demo the BV7-55. The dealer's unit was combined with a Beolab 7-6 stereo speaker. I was assured that the TV's settings were "out of the box",and due to time constraints,no attempt was made to adjust them. The demo consisted of the standard Freeview transmissions

One thing to be aware of is that the settings resulting from having set up an Harmony Remote Control are stored on Logitech's website,NOT one's computer. The advantage is that if one does hit a problem one can not resolve,Logitech's Customer Support can input directly into the stored settings. Initial setup, can be time consuming ,even for

Do the young not demand cutting edge technology? Is B & O capable of providing this? For example, take the Beosound 8.Why does it not incorporate Airplay? B & W have already completely redesigned the Zeppelin to incorporate it,provide superior sound quality to the Mark 1 version, and at a cheaper price. As for Asia---to concentrate on it to the
I still haven´t solved the Bluray link problem. My local dealer is going to try out some new players this wek I hope. The player has to distribute both digital and analog signal at the same time. My current Pioneer LX52 doesn´t do that.
Would the Oppo 93 be appropriate? http://www.oppo-bluray.co.uk/ecommerce
