I have had three sessions auditioning the BV7 v the BV9. I have been disappointed with the BV7 both in picture,and sound,quality. With regard to the Freeview tuner in the BV9,my experience has been that the quality is excellent

Yesterday,during a demo of a BV 9,I was surprised to be told that the integrated Beosystem 3 does not incorporate upscaling. Is this correct? If so,it is a surprising omission given the alleged sophistication of the Beosystem 3. Not all source equipment embodies upscaling equal to a BV9/Beosystem3.

The standard warranty from B & O is 2 years. Apparently,on occasions in the past,as a special promotion, B & O have offered a warranty longer than the standard 2 years. Given the prices,and the asserted higher quality,and reliability,of their products would it be financially onerous to B & O to offer a longer manufacturer's warranty

From postings on another forum,it appears to be the case that "running in" a plasma screen for a recommended 200 hours does not necessarily guarantee that one will not encounter either screen burn,or image retention. Given that apparently Panasonic supply plasma panels to B & O's own specification,have owners of the latter's plasma
