  • B & O Promotion-Europe wide?

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I have been advised by my local(UK) dealer that B & O is offering a 4 year warranty on certain products, including the TVs,until the 31/12/07. Unfortunately,I do not know if this is UK specific,or is available throughout Europe.

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 MkIII - when?

My local(UK) dealer advised me today that he has received confirmation from B & O that the BV7-40 Mk111 will be despatched from Denmark on the 14 October, and he should have it in store on the 18/19 October. He also advised that until the 31/12/07 B & O is offering a 4 year warranty on certain products including the TVs.

  • Re: BV 7-40 Mk III Countdown- who get the first one in EU...?

moxxey: Terry....but any news from your dealer on the 32" revision (if there will be a revision)? In some ways, I'd rather have a BS3 based BV7-32, without a 'full HD' panel. Moxxey, unfortunately, the 32" will neither be getting the BS3 chassis, nor a 1080p panel.

  • Re: BV 7-40 Mk III Countdown- who get the first one in EU...?

My local(UK) dealer telephoned this morning to update me on the BV7-40 Mk111 following a dealer seminar/demo in Denmark. Firstly,it is vastly superior to the Mk11. Secondly,he is expecting it in store in 2-3 weeks. Additionally,he advised that B & O is adamant that they will NOT be producing a 46" version. Given that 50" is really the

  • Re: beovision 7 upgrade

Not having seen them,I cannot comment on the performance of either the Full HD BV7,and BV9,so they may well represent the best in their respective technologies. However, the competition does not stand still. Shortly arriving,we have the Fujitsu Aviamo LCD,and Plasma,TVs,and the Pioneer Full HD Plasmas. Then early next year, the Loewe Connect.

  • Re: beovision 7 upgrade

Having had an extensive demo of the BV7,I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the PQ. If one is going to make comparisons with other manufacturers products then please make them meaningful. A BV7 v a Loewe, for example,a Spheros,or an Individual Compose, and a BV9 v a Pioneer 8G,or a Fujitsu 58.

  • Re: October Prize draw

I would appreciate clarification on a particular point, viz does the name of a previous prize winner remain "eligible" to win a prize in successive draws?

  • Re: BV9 - Soon arriving to ....mr anders(son)

Re Blu-ray-- please correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding that none of the currently available players are compatible with the new BD Forum Protocol(1.1?) which comes into effect next month. As I understand it,all players sold after October must accord with the Protocol. It remains to be seen whether the current machines can be made compatible

  • BV9 1080p---how well does it deal with SD?

I have yet to read a review of a full HD TV wherein it's performance with SD material has not been heavily criticised. Now that the full HD BV9 is in the hands of some (lucky) members, how does it cope with SD material, particularly off air broadcasts? I look forward to opinions. Terry.

  • SD and a Full HD Panel.

Apparently B & O will introduce shortly the BV9,and the BV7(40",and possibly 46") with a Full HD panel. I appreciate that they have not been B & O TVs,but I have yet to read a review of a 1080p panel that does not suffer from poor reproduction of SD material in general, and DVB-T(Freeview) in particular. I only hope that B & O in
