Last time I bought a CX woofer if was £25 here in the UK. You may have to phone more than one dealer as some dealers will happily sell you a drive unit and others will insist on you paying them to fit it as well. Simon

The first time I tried refoaming I followed a tip from another posting on here that suggested you could refoam without completely removing the drivers. It was an unmitigated disaster and I ended up buying new drivers! A soldering Iron and solder will cost a nominal sum on ebay and removing the drivers completely makes everything 100% easier. I have

The CX100 are a perfectly competent small speaker and definitely shouldn't sound horrible so something must be wrong! There is a single capacitor in each speaker. Martin (Dillen) can provide suitable replacements. Simon

The Zeppelin costs around £400 A set of lab 4s (the PC only version) through Apple etc. would set you back about £650 A beosound 1 is about £1300 £600-800 would be perfectly affordable for most B&O customers but it would be a difficult balancing act as all of the current range is much more expensive and this could undermine
