If you dont look at the size of the picture (regarding viewing distance) and instead think of how large the TV-set would look in my livingroom. Hi guys, I have today a BV 7-40. My room is 4 meter x 5 meter (20 m2). I have the TV and sofa along the longside-walls. I have 3 meter from the sofa to the TV (viewing distance). Is the 7-55 too large for this size of room? I really want to buy the 7-55 to get a bigger screen but the TV-set (7-55) is very big. I have also Beolab 5 at frontspeakers and

Hi Keith, I have Beovision 7-40 Mark III. It is a full-Hd Tv and I have software 5.08 which supports 24p. So I dont think (and dont hope) that your points is the differences between mark I and Mark II.

Hi, I have today a Beovision 7-40. I have 3,3 meters from the viewingspot (the Couch) to the TV. My room is 4mx5m= 20 m2. Do you guys think that the BV 7-55 is too large for this room and too large when viewing SD-contest? (pixelation more apperent?) I hope someone who knows this things can help. Regards Martin

Hi guys, There is alot of talking about clouding-effect on the BV10. Have someone experienced the same problem with the new Beovision 7-55? Regards Martin

Hi I have a 7-40 Mark III and upgraded the software to 7.05. I had the same problem with the fan-noise. I have downgraded to my old software 5.08, and now the TV is silent again.

Hi Stephan, I have ordered "Bass-traps" to put in the two corners behind the speakers. I can be interesting to see if it would help anything. I let you know. Regards Martin

Hi Stephan, I feel more of the deepbass. Upperbass is the same as before. Interesting thing you did regarding the calibration. Maybe I should do the reverse. I should try to move the speakers to a smaller room with much furniture and calibrate them there. After that, move them in to my larger livingroom where I got much less furniture. I will try that

Hi Puncher, I have read the thread you reffered to. My problem is that without having changed anything in the room since may (when I bought the Labs5), the Bass is more dominate. When I bought the speakers, the first two month the Bass was very light. How can the bass be much more louder than when I bought them? I have played about 300 hours with the
