Hi Beobuddy, Thank you for your reply. I do understand the technical differences between the ways of connect the speakers. But I do not understand why the sound is a little bit more shy and less detailed with S/PDIF vs the powerlink-connection. It should be the reversed instead. I dont think there is something wrong with my speakers, it is just like

Hi, I have Beolab 5 and I have had this speakers in 2 years now. I am still struggling between feeding the speakers with the direct digital connection (S/PDIF) or with the powerlink, when listening to music. I feel that the sound, when using S/PDIF, has less treble and the sound overall is a little bit more shy and have not so much detail as when I

Hi, I got my BV 7-55 updated with newest software yesterday (SW 10.05). I found that in the customer meny, the ML-Delay is "grayed out" with "OFF". I can not change the settings to "ON". Does anybody know why B&O has removed this feature? Regards Martin

Hi, Thanks for your replies regarding my "problem". First of all, I dont think that the other speakers (rear-speakers and center-spekeaker) will decrease in bass. As rear speakers , I have BeoLab 4000. My question is when I run 5.1 sound from eg DVD / Bluray . When you have BeoLab 5 ( and no subwoofer ) you can not change the

You will never regret buying a 7-55. I think it is one of the best LCD-tvs on the market on all aspects. I had a 7-40 Mark III before. Except from the size, the picture-quality is much much better with 7-55 than with 7-40 mark III.

Well, B&O can NOT include 3D at an easy way. At first, the Beosystem 3 has to be upgraded to support HDMI 1.4-protocol. Today it support HDMI 1.1. Second: 3D uses much more power in the picture-processing than 2D. The Beosystem 3 has to be modified in power also. So B&O has to do alot of things with their hardware before they can implement 3D

Hi Tom, The accustics in a room depends on how the room is (type of wall, floor, roof etc...). I have very much accustics in my room and the bass is a little bit too much when I calibrate the speakers where they should play. So I calibrate them in the corners (left and right corner) and get a little bit less bass. I have never heard of someone who also
