Hi Craig, Here is my story view and experience with BL7.4. Some year ago I had a set-up with a old MX6000 and Penta III’s as front speakers. I really liked the sound from the Pentas and find them to be very very good speakers. Then 1½ year ago I got a BV7 with BL7.4 as centre and BL3’a as rear. I kept my Pemta III’s as front

It's not a must for me to have a DVD2, but it would enable me to see a DVD in the main room and another in a lonk room at the same time. That's why. Ken

Hi all, I have an old BC2 that I'm trying to get working as DVD2 when connected to a BV7-40. I can't find any setting on the BC2 to configure the DVD to be DVD2. On the BV7-40 I set-up an input to be DVD2 and connected this to the BC2, but the BC2 does not start when pressing DVD2 on the remote (or DVD). When I put a DVD disc in the BC2 and

Thanks Peter, I checked the SW versions in the service menu and it report the following: AP: 1.30a OS: 12.09h IOP: 22.00a Tuner: x.xx.x Master unit: 1.30a Type no: 2811 I guess mine is a mark 1 unit (non-DAB) and running SW 1.30a. Right? Can you tell how the SW is updated and what cost I should expect? Regards, Ken

Thank Peter, Mine is the non-DAB version. I have a problem with the BC-2 not shutting down after using the CD player. It's OK when using radio. An example is: 1) Start with all things turned off. 2) Switch on radio from a link product (BL 3500) 3) Press standby and the BC goes on standby. But if I do the following: 1) Start with all things turned

Hi all, I just got a new (used) BC2, and would like to know if anyone could provide me with information about the latest SW version for BC2. I would also like to know if anyone knows how it's updated (is it just loading new SW or is it hardware replecement of some parts?) and what I should expect to pay for an update. Will both parts (panel and

Mike, all, If you are using BL9's without a BL2 and have them connected to a BV7, you should select BL5 as front spekares in the menu. Deals / B&O says that you should select BL1's, but that will cut off some bass that the 9's are more than able to handle. Rememeber also to check this setting if you are testing them in a store, as you

Mike, I also have a problem with physical space in the hourse for the Penta's (and a wife disliking the design), but they are just too good to go. Ken

Hi Mike, Just a few weeks ago I made a shift from Penta III's to BL9's as front. I have BV7-40 with BL7.4 as you have and BL3's as rear. I actaully posted a detailed review of my thoughts about BL9 on the old forum, but this is of no use now. I brief I can say: Design: I am becomming to like the BL9 design more and more each day and they
