  • Re: BEO5 configuration software

Hi all, Thanks for all the information. Now I know it's a MSI package and that it can work off-line and there is no need for username / password. That very usefull info. Anyone knows where on the source PC (the dealeres PC) the MSI package is placed and the name of the package? Regards, Ken

Yes, I will bring a USB stick with me. But I need to know what to copy. Is it a single program file, is it a specific directory, is it a number of files / dirs? On this forum it seams that others have got a copy from thier dealer. Maybe they could to what to copy. Ken

  • Re: BeoMedia Speaker Selection Issue

Hi Greg, I also have a BM1 and BV7 with full speaker set-up. I agree with you that BM1 speaker set-up shoudl folow the audio configuration and not the video configuration. When / if BM1 is able to store movies with 5.1 sound and a digital sound connection from BM1 til BV7 is possible it's less simpel. But for now it's mainly a audio source in

  • Re: Beolab 9

Hi, When I got my BL9's I also got the information that I should use the BL1 setting on my BV7. I tried this and found that there was a huge difference in the amout of bass sent to the BL9's when using the BL1 and the BL5 setting. Clearly you shoudl use the BL5 setting to ensure no bass is filtered. I think the advise for using the BL1 setting

  • Re: do I need a BeoLab 2 ???

Hi Massimo, I have a set-up with BV7 + BL7.4, BL9's as front and BL3's as rear. In this set-up i really don’t see a need for BL2. The BL9's have a very good, deep and precise bass and it really rock the room if you let them. One of my friends has a set-up with BV7 + BL7.4, BL8000's as front and rear and BL2. In terms of sound I

David, If you don't wan't to use Spearker 4 mode for music this the BL4000 shoudl be fine as reas with some ALT sperkars in front. But i'm shure yoy will notis a big difference in sound from front and rear if you are using Speaker 4 mode. Also some concers in 5.1 use the rears a lot (Jarre in China) and here you will also notis a difference

  • Re: Do I need to clean my ears, 7.4 question

Hi Rd, BV7 + BL7.4 + 4*BL3 will be a great set-up, but you need to add a BL2 for the bottom. This was exactly the set-up I was planning for, but for the reasons below I choosed otherwise. 1) Form an design perspective I would really try to avoid a separate sub. Not that I don’t like the design of BL2, but I would not fit well in my living room
