  • Re: Something new about the beo5...?

jandyt: Perhaps I wasn't being clear. I have the full bar visible while still reading the forums Articles--Products--FAQS--Forum--News--Gifts--Prizes--Dealers--Links Andy T. I think what's bothering Soundproof is that the links available at www.beoworld.org aren't there when you read the forum, unless you have two windows open, which might

  • Re: Boelab 9--- "Hi-Fi World" Review.

I just read it. Excellent review. How very true: "Let's start with the obvious point straightaway - yes, you can buy a very impressive amplifier and loudspeaker combination for the Beolab 9's purchase price of £5,000, however I suspect you would struggle to find seven hundred genuine watts for this amount and, to be frank, I think

  • Re: How to fit a pair of BeoLab 9s in a Mini Cooper

That's just excellent! I can see people in the cars around you turn their heads. "Look daddy! He's got a penguin in the passenger seat!"

  • Re: Trip to Struer

Peter: They have only been back less than a week! However I am sure that it may well become a regular event. I think they may need a little time to recover though. The Happy Penguin may have to stock up again as well. I for one wouldn't mind if it became an annual event.

  • Re: Recent Purchases

Today I bought a Beomaster 5000, a Beogram CD50 and a Master Control Panel 5000. It will be put in my son's room, since I think the remote is just the right size for him. I have to replace the woofers of my CX50s first, though. Does anyone know where I can find a pair of decent replacement drivers?

  • Re: Which do you think is winning us over?

I've got both mine and my wife's iPods connected to the BC9500. When listening seriously to music, I put on a CD. Honestly, though, I can't hear the difference between a CD and an MP3 at a bitrate exceeding 192kbps. It's just so much more convenient with the iPod if you want to use the shuffle function. (Perhaps I ought to get a Beosound

  • Re: Beocenter 9000 - building in iPod

I think this would be an excellent way to upgrade a classic Beocenter to modern standards. Virtually noone I know uses cassette tapes anymore. If you can do this without damaging the look of the system, it would be amazing.

  • Re: Struer visit

I've put my pictures on the server at home. Unfortunately it only has 1Mbps upstream, so be patient. http://home.fridsten.se/struer/ There are 76 pictures. "Large" means 1024x768 pixels and the "Original" ones are 2560x1920.
