kijf001: serial number = 8520 when v.opt is set to 1 or 2, standby light gives 1 blinck. If it does not blink when you try 'V.OPT 6' then it does not have an ML module fitted.

On a Beocenter 1 it should be standard but an easy way to check is try to put it in 'option 6' if the red light blinks then it has an ML module fitted.

grahamdrinks: Hi, a UK living newbie here with a topic I've seen discussed but the suggestions from here haven't worked. I connected my new Beocom 6000 with no problems and was very happy with it until I plugged in my wireles router and tried to use the phone when I got a lot of wireless interference. As suggested on here, I have changed channels

villarsch: I've just got home and read your helpful repy. Obviously I would prefer to use the digital audio cable set-up in conjubctio with the Scart and HDMI-DVI connections. Do you know if there is a connection in the Sky HD box for a digital audio cable, with a corresponding imput in the back of the BV7?I have conntacted my local B&O dealer

BeoTunes: Hi, I have 6 new BeoCom 6000 handsets and the new PSTN base station, but my coverage breaks up in my house. I have since bought 3 RTX DECT repeaters from my local store, but I still keep getting break up when on a call. The bases are registered correctly, and correct test tones given - and I was wondering if there was a more substantial DECT
-
Sorry, yes I did in that case but perhaps you also misunderstood the advice I was trying to give. If the local exchange has changed it's software protocols, older versions of the B&O PSTN base may require a SW update to talk to the updated exchange correctly.

tom: As it seems, the 40" version will have a FULL HD panel in some months time, no news about the 32" version. I would definitly not buy a BV7 now. The integrated DVD player could become useless in a year, but it does not necessarily have to be so. I can not see how the DVD player will become useless in a year.

Keith Saunders: I agree that this is likely to be a driver type issue at the PSTN, so there is not a lot of point in updating the software in the phones when it has been proved that they work correctly at Phil's friends home. Keith.. If you update the SW in the base the phones have to be done as well, SW levels have to be the same in the entire

It is something your dealer will have to do, it will take about 10 mins.

villarsch: My apologises if this item has already been covered, but after having trouble with the Sky HD box I have been told by Sky Technical that I should not have a Scart connection between the Sky HD box and the TV. When, however, I disconnected the Scart, the TV had no sound on Sky. When I reported this to Sky, they said that the Scart was in conflict
