Hi ArgyleMoss, Why don't you use coduit pipes istead of " 2"X1" batton "? It might be a better solution if you want to rewire or add wires to your installation in the future. Regards Rasmus

Hi, Is it possible to upgrade a HDR1 80 Gb with a 250/500 Gb IDE hard drive (yourself)? I can see in the service manual it looks like a normal IDE hard drive and it also looks like you can manually can set the size of the disk in the service menu. What format is the hard drive formatted in (FAT32/NTFS) and which format are the recordings store in, is

Thanks for your quick reply Keith! I will get back to you with the result, when I have tried to change the option and checked the wiring. Unfortunately I don't have a spare IR receiver to test the Beolink Passive with... Regards Rasmus

Thank you all for your replies, and Peter thanks for the Service Manual. It's a used puck connected to a used BeoLink Passive. I bought them on two different internet auctions, so they have never worked together before. I'll try to change the option at first. Where is the option information stored, in the Puck or in the attached BeoLink unit
