I hope this helps.
It does (I hope also to the original poster and others wondering) and as always is a pleasure to have you here, Dave. I can only say that I have basically (rather unsurprisingly) the same experience with my BV5. Good it has a motorised stand (and I can sometimes be alone with it ). One
thanks, i'll give that a try when I get home. i am slightly worried that the glass might detach if I place too much pressure on it.
I wouldn't attempt to use pressure ... instead - only if you feel comfortable with that - put the BS9000 flat somewhere save (your bed eg) connect it to power and open the
I would definitely argue against having two center speakers.
So, Dave, would one have to conclude from what you are saying that B&O didn't get it quite right with eg Avant, BV5, BV7 and also BV10 etc? It might be the reason why the stand is not functioning as it should. I experienced it once incl. similar symptoms as yours. The arrows point at two dents in the (plastic) part's
I am aware theft is an issue with B&O equipment, but will happen pin coded or not !!!
Perhaps, one could put one more obstacle in front of an (uninformed) thief by placing a sign on your B&O saying 'Don't bother to take this with you: it's heavy, its ownership registered and has a PIN code
-
Not sure if this is hearsay or fact, and i'm sure someone will correct me - but i heard that B&O wouldn't release the PIN code technology to the manufacturer of the BV8 components (for fear of it being stolen i assume?), and as the BV10 is a BV8 chassis it followed suit.
I hope it's a hearsay because
