I have trid as you have suggeted and many other combinations but have made no progress at all. The ATV is working perfectly with the ATV remote but the Beo 4 will not make any headway in working it. My dealer says V. Mem should work. He also said that the HDMI socket must be chosen before the PUC socket - which I have done. I am really stumped with

  • Beovision 8-40 PUC menu

I have Bv 8-40 and have connected an apple TV which I can control with its own remote. I have set up PUC 1 to operae it with Beo 4 but cannot get it to work. I have set up AV 1 to V-Mem (because it is a button on the remote and so I don't have to go into List. I have chosen HDMI A and PUC 1. I save all this and try to bring up the PUC menu but can

  • Re: Beovision 8-40 connect to mac which connection?

If this is using the red and white terminals then the sound is analogue rather than digital. Does it sound OK? I guess it means that you can only get stereo rather than any type of surround sound.I really would like digital sound but I guess I will have to take what I can get with the limitations of the Mac and BV8!

  • Re: Beocom 6000 ringing but not responding

I must have Mark II as it is the one with the earset. How do I reset this model? Do I press Int and the numbers you suggested?

I don't understand how to reset. What does DOT mean? Which button is it? Thank you for your patience.

  • Re: Beovision 8-40 connect to mac which connection?

It looks like I may need some sort of Toslink to SPDIF cable. I spoke to my dealer and we cannot see any other solution. It is a shame Apple will not put HDMI outputs on their computers. They really show that they want Apple TV to be their Media Centre!

  • Re: Australian Used B&O Market...

Fantastic idea. There used to be a great second hand market here before B&O was taken over by Denmark again a while ago. Prior to that I purchased many pieces of used B&O from dealers at very competitive prices. I think it was a great mistake by Denmark to discontinue this policy as it worked so well.

I only have one Beocom 6000 but will try as you suggest. Is it possible that the problem is the PSTN base station? Also will the handset reset erase all my phonebook? Thanks

  • Beocom 6000 ringing but not responding

I have a Beocom 6000 phone which is playing up. It rings and the numbers are still able to be accessed in the phone book but when you try and answer it it is dead with a message 'Power down...' I have tried holding the centre button down and it turns it off and then repowering it but to no avail. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem
