Dear All, I have the opportunity to buy a BL 7000 with table top charger for 540 Euro [475 pounds sterling]. Obviously, depending upon condition and perhaps age, is this a reasonable price [assuming good cosmetic condition and fully functional]? Thanks in advance for your comments / advice. Wings

Thanks, Graham. Thanks, Olly. It would appear that I will need to download the manual and determine whether I have the skills to do all that is necessary. Otherwises, I will be shipping a BG 7000 in pieces to someone like Graham or Martin for re-assembly! The more I work on the BG 7000, the more problems that arise!

Hi, Martin. Thanks for the advice. I will have to consider it seriously as I have no knowledge about the innards of the BG700 nor do I possess much technical skills. I am also concerned that this is becoming a "Pandora's Box" where more and more problems are being discovered while the original problem remains unresolved. In any event,

Sorry for the delay. I have been busy at work. Good news: I have fixed the problem with the black lever being in front of the white plastic bar. The black lever is now behind the white plastic bar. Also, the spring is now connected to the peg of white plastic bar. Bad news: the tonearm is still pointing to the sky. What is the next step? Thank you!
