Here is another photo of the two subject screws. I have tried two different sized Philips head screwdrivers to no avail. It appears that these screws' slots are wider than the usual Philips head slots. I have more photos, both of the underside of the carriage and other views of the various state of condition of the carriage but I do not want to

OK, I have removed the carriage from the two rods and have released the spring connecting the black top portion to the white bottom portion. What type of screw driver do I need? The Philips does not work on the two screws [next to the two black wires] on the underside of the carriage. The Philips does work on the single screw at the other end of the

However, my re-assembly skills set is totally the opposite.
My dear sir, use your camara digitalus.
Ha, ha, ha. That is another set of problems: It is a new camera. I know how to activate and de-activate the auto focus and the flash. The rest of the stuff I am
This normally occurs because a small plastic protrusion on the underside of the carriage has broken off. Once the cartridge is installed and the stylus weight set to the correct value, the

I wrote to the seller with a list of questions and concluded by asking whether the seller was aware that two BL 7000 were presently going on eBay for US$107. The seller responded by saying I should buy on eBay. Am I being over-sensitive or should I tell this person to get stuffed? I thought I was being very polite and respectful by suggesting that the

Mika, thanks. I did check e-bay but there is only one functioning BL7000 listed. There is another listed as for repairs or parts as the seller is uncertain whether it is working. I did not see any listed on LifeStyle AV. I will see what the seller here in Hong Kong wants for a bottom price. Jonathan -- thanks to you too. One reason for considering this
