There is a Bose concept store within a store that used to sell B&O here in Toronto. My usual reaction to their products is 'wow, it sure does play loud'. The sales guys really like to crank it. Hello all, I recently acquired a used BC9500. I'm primarily using it with lab 6000's as a secondary stereo. I'm wondering if there is any way on the unit to switch the passive speaker outputs off and on. Doesn't seem like there is ( I realize you could use MCL equipment for this). thanks

Hey Rickie, my 2¢. I have the original versions of the BL8000 and 6000. Both will play more than loud enough to annoy your neighbors in an apartment. I feel that the 8000 has a better sound field, when you stand up, the treble of the 6000 is diminished. I also feel like adding a sub is really only necessary for home theater applications where you

Hi Sean, I have a pronto and it does support the B&O frequency. It can also use an RF extender to control hidden equipment or trigger screens lowering and so forth. Configuration of the pronto is not exactly easy but I guess that is part of it being so powerful. You configure it all from a PC. I found it was easiest to start with an example file
