Mac vs PC usage is skewed by the vast proportion used in business where the user has no choice. It is different when people spend their own money - true some will go for the cheapest, others go for ease of use and reliability i.e. Mac. I am heartily sick of windows/viruses/slow startups because of virus scans etc.. B&O should get with the program

Right enough, the DVD door probably presents a problem, so I suspect it is not a DIY job. I wondered as I prefer silver, but did wonder whether the titanium might be an option in future. Any good photos out there of the titanium?

Is it possible to change the Aluminium colour trim on a BV7? If so easy or difficult, cheap or expensive?

Going by the photo I presume for table mounting the rear section must be rotated, however it must be pretty heavy to allow the screen to cantilever like that. I am not sure many would like to fix to a wall as it would require power and wiring to be concealed, although messy wiring did not seem to be a concern for B&O in the design of the BS4 stands

Another question on this topic: some sources eg Sky HD , Apple TV HD seem to be in 720p format. Will this be better on a 720p screen or will it be exactly the same on a 1080p screen. sorry for the questions but as a consumer I am extremely confused.

Thanks for the replies. There wont be any issues with blu-ray on the 720p screen i.e. loss of quality?

Any thoughts on the relative merits of one over the other? Will the 720p panel in the BV9 be much of a step down compared to the 1080p in the 7-40?

I do not think that they will reduce prices in the short term but will try to reduce the entry level price point by either introducing new product lines at lower prices (BV8) or break-up existing product lines where possible e.g. BV7-32 will be available without DVD for £1000 less.
