Yeah, the old beolits never had this problem way back in the day.....

I really like the Beolit 12, pretty fresh, although I can see the retro aspect of the design also. By contrast the Philps Fidelio is pretty derivative of the type of design B&O have been producing over the last two decades. Remove the Philips logo and replace with B&O logo. Add a few perforations on the aluminium finish and bingo - instant B&O

I suspect these products do not lend themselves to the type of production which China excels at.
