I hope that large black slab is a touch screen! I think it does look stunning. But lets hope there is some innovation in the GUI. Otherwise might as well just spend £180 on an Apple itouch. nlb.

A few new A4 B8 owners here with the BnO sound system: http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=201

"It's just a very beatiful piece of old technology" this is a perfect statement summing up the Beo5. nlb.
-
with release dates like this and common sayings like "which xmas" within BnO the company might as well give-up and go home now. Good job i'm not a shareholder. nlb.
-
OK ... so the BeoMaster5 is a MS PC while the BeoSound5 is a mini LCD screen! Simple. I'll stick with my Apple iTouch thanks very much. nlb.
-
Now the question is would you prefer the Beo5 or the Apple iTouch as a two way remote for the BS5? I know what Peter would say! nlb.
-
Does anyone know if the BS5 can be operated using a remote control like the Beo4 or Beo5, or is the 'screen' supposed to be a 'fixed' remote control in the room? nlb.
-
yep this does work, you get a full 4:3 pic in the middle with black bars on the left and right side.
-
I would also love to use the iTouch to control my B&O DTV, by selecting tv station logos (as on the outdated Beo5) and also via a 7 day EPGs from the web ... must all be possible somehow ... nlb.

Soundproof, thats a shame, can't be too difficult to get cover flow working in RB especially as the image file are fairly small for cover flow (download time). thanks for the youtube clip, looks great! nlb.
