  • Re: B&O and products updates

Distance wise it would be great if even simple updates could be offered. It's madness that I either have to lug my Beovision 10 two and a half hours to update the PUC or have Service come to my home for a 5 minute job. Unfortunately not everyone lives 5 minutes from a store/service centre. Peter

  • Re: Audio output from BS9000 via BV10 with PL connected speakers

The tv will need to be powered on at the wall but does not need to be switched on to use the 9000. Most of the commands are via the tv (except for the timer function).

  • Re: outside speakers

According to the Masterlink manual there is a B&O outside mounting box that from memory is plastic. Part number is 3132221. The IR 'puck' control for our outdoor speakers is mounted inside just inside the doorway. We have IR disabled as we usually just stand at the door and use the 'puck' to adjust the sound when needed. If we need

  • Re: Beolab 5000 speakers

They do sound good don't they? I was amazed when I first connected ours. My wife likes the sound better than the 8000's. They look good too..... Peter

  • Re: Beolab 5000 speakers

They look great but if they are in a public area I wouldn't have them anywhere near where they can be touched. I have a friend who owns a restaurant and he is constantly amazed how things he thought were 'public proof' get damaged. If the picture shows where they are to be installed permanently they will be damaged. They will have dents

  • Re: BV3 to BV10

It would be good if you could adjust the sound settings on the BV10 for the TV only. By this I mean that you can adjust the bass/treble for the TV only and then have different settings for attached speakers. With my BV10 I would like to increase the bass and perhaps loudness on the TV speaker only so that the sound can be more like the attached speakers

The correct brackets also enable you to get the level/straightness of the speakers 'just right'. When installing my 5000's I placed the mounting bracket on the wall and measured and measured to get the level straight. When the speakers were actually mounted they were slightly off centre but as the bracket has an adjustment screw you can

  • Re: Any questions for the new CEO ?

Are there any plans to make any of the products 'upgradable' by the customer without the need of going via a dealer or service centre? By this I mean having the option (say) of being able to upgrade a PUC control device on a TV via the B&O website and uploading it to the TV without the need of a service call. At the moment if I wanted to
