  • Re: September Prize Draw

    Just checked my mailbox and wow, what a nice surprise. The only thing I usually win, is the contest " Who will mow the lawn today ?". As I am renovating my house for the moment, I don't even dare to think about bying some new B&O stuff. This prize couldn't come at a better time, notwithstanding the fact that I find it the most

  • Re: Beocom 2 behaving weird

    Have now checked th line with an other phone, same problem. So no Beocom blame, must be the phoneline itself. Now comes the difficult part, getting hold of someone at my telephone service provider.

  • Beocom 2 behaving weird

    Hello everyone, I have the following problem with my Beocom 2. When called, it rings only once. If you pick it up, there is connection, but with a 'crackling' background noise. The caller hears this noise as well, even before the phone is picked up from its charger. Calling the phone when it's off the charger, it also rings only once, but

  • Adding a HDR 2 to an Avant 32", is this possible?

    Good evening, This question may have been asked already before, but as I am waiting for an answer from my dealer since last week, I would like to ask it again here. I have an 32" Avant in a surround setup, also connected to a Beomedia. Can I connect an HDR 2 to it in a relatively simple way? This was/is not possible with an 28" Avant VCR.

  • Re: Avant VCR thin pink line

    If I remember well, there's a scart connection at the back that links the VCR to the TV. Have a look if one of these scarts came loose (without being totally disconnected). Think I've had that problem before and that was the trick then;

  • Re: Wiring - Yes/No?

    I just finished the wiring in my 200+ year old house. Actually do like this kind of things, finding solutions for practical problems. As we are living in the house, I didn't want to tear up too much walls/structures, yet as much cables as possible were to be hidden. Except for the outdoor speakers, all of them are active ones, so I decided to hide

  • Re: Potential New Owner

    The only good path is your own. But don't be afraid to change it to find a better way . We were planning to renovate a part of the house. As I was going to do the cablework for the hifi-system myself, we decided to install that first to avoid breaking up walls and floors after the renovation. The initial plan was to add two speakers to the 11 year

  • Re: Potential New Owner

    I just finished installing B&O in my house and am really impressed by the Beolab 3's. Wonderful little devils of speakers. They are very comparable to my BL8000, which I still find the best looking speakers ever seen -and they only take a minimum of floor space. I am even very pleased by the BL4's that do a very nice job as link speakers
