• Re: MX7000 and AV sources... I'm confused...

I tried SHIFT - TV and I got a black screen with no sound. The plug I used was this plug so I'm guessing it's not wired right or something, so what else could I try lead/plug/socket wise?

OH Cool thanks Henrik, I'll try that tomorrow. I'll go get an rca to SCART plug first, but I guess if that doesn't work I'll just get a double scart socket. I'll let you know how it goes & thanks again

Yes I'm having issues with it, I know it should be easy but hey! I tried it with a Beo4 but I don't think I saw a CDV on the menu in the setup bit If it helps it says sw 2.0 and its a beo4 version, however I'm mean so only lending them a Beolink1000 as I don't have a spare Beo4 to lend them

  • MX7000 and AV sources... I'm confused...

HELP! Hmmmm I need help setting up my MX7000 that I'm lending to friends for a while. OK so it has a Beolink 1000, and so far a sky box connected scart to scart to AV1, with that set as V.TAPE-1 to AV1. So they press V.TAPE on the Beolink1000 to watch sky (obviously using the sky remote on the sky box). NOW they have a little Philips DVD player

  • Re: Former avant owners

*grinz* well being in the back of beyond with not too much HD content about, I've just added an AV9000 and MX7000 to my RF DVD Avant and am very happy I think I'll be more than happy with CRT SD whilst I wait for: a) a decent amount of HD content & b) a decent broadband offering that can cope with high speed HD downloads. Hmmm I'll not

LOL oh dear, to get slightly back on topic, here in sunny NZ we managed nationally to reduce power by 3.5%! It would have been more, but no doubt the Ponsonby residents refused to turn off their coffe machines, and wine chillers

  • Re: broken master control panel (av9000) need alternative

Hey thanks Stefan Yeah I've got it set-up now, but was just wondering if there was a way of getting the Avant sources on it so I can use the BL3500 somewhere else in the house that's all? On the fun side just got a MX7000 with motorised stand for $375, so my query would be do I just need an ML - Datalink convertor or a videolink, etc? Thanks

  • Re: broken master control panel (av9000) need alternative

Errr, well I used to have a set-up of non B&O tv and BL3500 in the link room so that was fine to watch sat & DVDs, but now with the AV9000 I can get audio sources, just not sure how to get the DVD & SAT source from the Avant? And as it was a non B&O tv I had the modulator or some setting on rather than the default off Do I need something
Peter, remember we had the same discussion a few months ago. I have the oldest version of AV9000 and it was linked with my Beosound 4 with no problems at all. In fact it was connected to the rest (and still is) to the whole link in the house and no problems at all!!
OH? Mine's type 4305 with sw1.1 so would
