OK thanks for the info. I don't use Blu-Ray at the moment, I will wait until they update the module, providing they do. However, I do notice some annoying bars on the top of my screen on some DVD playback, Star Trek The Next Generation does it at times. Do you suppose this would be fix if I upgraded the software? Simon.

What flsh problem are you referring to? My picture is fine ... as far as I know! Simon.

Got an HD ready TV? Not bought into Blu-Ray yet? Then wait! Get a top of the range Toshiba HD DVD player for a stupid price due to Blu-Ray having won the high definition battle. They now can't get rid of the HD DVD players quick enough and this is your chance to snap up the bargains before they go. This is the best deal I have seen yet and you get

Well I am bias since I own a 7-40 Mark III but I can tell you that its a great TV and I am very happy with it. The picture quality will not be very good with a standard definition signal but if you use digital and especially HD then it is superb. I could have waited for the next edition that one hopes will have Blu-Ray built in but then how long would

Beobuff, I had the Mark II before the Mark III and the sound really didn't bother me at all if I am honest. I think to view it as a problem is not right as it is meant to make this noise as the clamping mechansim performs its job. You could always mention it to your dealer but I wouldn't see it as a manufacturing fault as its not. Perhaps my

djjkroon: Reading all these posts. I got realy interested in the BS5. I only use B&O for audio and have the audio (Master) linked in several rooms. I use the BeoPort, BS3000,BeoLink Passive and the Beo4. I have several CD-s in my house, some are digitalized. The most not. Why because I can't see what is playing in my linked room, using the Beo4
