Thanks for the link Peter, this is now starting to look like a very exciting product
-
Will this new functionality work if you have a BM5 only (no BS5)? I have ML throughout the house and a beoport
-
I have BL6000s which are on most of the time in large family room, kitchen dinning area and they fill it very well. Sound also flows outside when I open all the byfold doors.

Got my Beolab 4000 mk 1 out of storage following a long renovation, neither powered up. The rest of my beolabs and equipment were fine. Sent the 4000 off to service who phoned and said after pressing their power on buttons could find anything wrong.... DOH!
-
I have both BL6000 & 4000 mk1, prefer sound of 4000 which also have a very flexible bracket mounting system. If you can go listen to both of them
-
I have both and concur with Peter the earlier 4000s sound better than the 6000. However I have the 6000 in a main listening room as they look better in that room with the 4000 wall mounted in a link room (the 4000 have very flexible mounting system)

After about 9 years of a lot of playing my drivers went, i checked price to replace & recalibrate through B&O service and seem to recall it was very reasonable give their new/used value. They still sound wonderful after a further 5 years although they are now in a link room.

I have just upgraded from an Avant to a BV10 and extremely happy with both the picture which is stunning and sound. I did have reservations with the sound from the BV10 but it is in my setup very good and I have had the volume up for some movies. The setup includes BL8000 and a BL2 in a 3.5 x 4.5mtr room with high ceilings. As others have pointed out
-
Just be careful it isn't hot/stolen
-
Yes I have this setup in a spare bedroom, one of the site sponsors, Sound heavenly has a cable with power supply which works excellently and sounds wonderful. Just search his site, very easy to find the right cable.
