Well, a couple months back, I was with some friends doing some filming on a Nokia N70 (which has a video camera). Anyway, it slipped out of my hands into a (full) pint glass and switched off, broken, although the memory card still had the footage. Just last night though, I tried it again, and like Lazarus, it turned on and worked perfectly. Does anyone

Ah.. stupidly expensive rival equipment on the forum, it's been a while. Anyone fancy starting a post with the latest news from the world of 'Stupidly Expensive Speaker Cable' ? I'm always genuinely amazed about how ridiculous some maufacturers are prepared to go

Some good points all round. I didn't know B&O had made a cheaper (more sinsible) armband, I'll pop in at some point to have a look. As for iTunes, I do indeed have a Mac although I've yet to try fidling with the BeoSound in it; I wasn't really aware that they worked well together. Oh, and of course, as was said, it's interesting

Well, havng witnessed the marathon, I've decided to get in shape and take up running with the intention of taking part next year. Anyway, I'm now getting my BS2 out the cubboard where it's resided since I started taking public transport rather than walking to lectures (I now read books en route to work). 9 LEE: Yes, they are truly awesome speakers! I cannot help grinning whenever i hear them.. For a 'new' pair, ex demo, you will probably wrestle a pair off an official dealer for about £8000 if he wants rid of them! Lee But then it begs the question of why would a dealer want to get rid of them? Unless there's something uber-secret

It's cheaper if you buy the 2 together. Of course, the cost saving becomes greater if you add in a Beogram, maybe a CD player as well, and a tape deck just to complete the system.... Heck, you may as well get a nice set of red lines to go with that system.... TV? No, that's maybe going to far... Oh why not
