To be fair, I'm not actually sure how you could take the design any further. At least with a tv, you can factor in shape/design to the speakers, sensor, dvd player, stand etc. Perhaps B&O would be better just building in a photoframe option to their tv's, although then that's one of the ways they sell beomedia anyway. It's a pitty

Oooo... if it could control my Mac, that would be the icing on the cake. I've already been wanting to get one, just so that I can access Phono from a main button rather than having to press 'List'. That and I've also wanted to have a 2nd remote so that I can drill a hole in the wall and stick a sensor and some speakers in my bedroom

Sorry, I never saw what was wrong with film. I just blew of my black and white photos up to 2x3 feet. The level of detail you get with film is still miles ahead of digital

I'm off to China on business for two weeks this weekend. Assides from explaining an absense from the board, I thought I'd check whether I'll be able to charge my serene or macbook out there? I'm not exactly sure what the power situation is out there, ie whether I'll be fine with a plug adaptor bought at the airport or whether it's

I had a dream once where they made a BS9000 that was for LP's instead of CD's, and I'd put some picture discs and coloured vinyl in it. I actually suspect that such a system would cost a fortune in raw materials along, being about 7 or 8 feet long, but man would that be cool looking

What system is it? Sounds like you might have forgotten to change the record source setting from 'microphone' to 'line'

Well, I have... um... er... a friend, who managed to stupidly knock over a glass of wine onto his Beo4 and master control panel lying on the table. The batteries were quickly removed and thankfully the vino in question was white and so no damage was done to the carpet (which is actually dark purple anyway, just in case) or anything else. To be honest

Gah, apple products are almost even worse for it. The number of times I see someone open a laptop up and spot the apple light on the lid before it's out the carry case...

I was rewatching the Bourne film series last night, others might remember that scene where he notices how he's subconciously profiling everyone and subconsiously spotting danger. Well, this morning I watched the "Ruddy hell, it's Harry and Paul" comedy sketch show. In one scene, there's a B&O system and before it was even mentioned

Well thanks to eBay and the like, the BL2000 is only 'unobtainable' as every other system, ie not very. I would have thought if they revamp the 3500, one obvious route would be to add the colour customisation to it, or do they offer that already? It's a few years since I thought about getting one. Certainly a wireless version of the speaker
