Stars: Why is there no BeoPlayer for Mac? I don´t want to be rude, but sorry, who would need or even use this? There probably would be a couple of heavy afioconados, who would install this, but nothing more. As far as I can see it, "idealand" will never ever be able to produce something like a simple, early itunes version, not to talk

To me the posts 158063 to 158094 sum up quite good my personal reservations about bs5. The product is discussed since I don´t remember anymore when, but way to long and was highly charged with expectations. I was ready to get rid of my bs9000 and change it for bs5 the moment it would become available. But I was expecting a full "real"

Alex: think of a product to compliment the BeoLab 5 (hence the '5' moniker) Afaik this is not true for the product now released. Their were several incarnations of the bs5 while developing it. Hence the long time til finishing the project. The first one(s) being true high-end systems to complement the bl5. But not this one. This product is definitely

paddy2042: RussR: I have not seen anything yet which leads me to believe that you could not have both in the system at once. Depending on details of the BeoSound 1, and just where precisely the PowerLink outputs are, I should think they will play well together. Of more concern, at the moment, is wether you will want both. I have had my 9000 since January

I have to admit MOTS being the feature I´m least interested in. I use iTunes8 on a regular and don´t know what to do with the similar genius. To me it´s just like the "random" function on the first cd players (I know, I know, MOTS is much much more advanced...). It´s nice to have, but you use it a couple of times for

mbee: With this survey, the fear comes back. I think the question is how they will define luxury. To me luxury is -at least in the av-market and contrary to fashion- not only about the price, design or the brand. It´s also about materials, user experience and (!) technology. If they keep on producing mediocre gadgets at a premium like bs6, serene

beocool: There's simply no excuse for the floorstand Why so reluctant? The thing is downright disastrous.

bayerische: I can't get any such page... Would be interested in the questions. Here you go: http://link.etyper.com/survey/survey_v1.asp?p1=419776400&p2=73&p4=http://www.bang-olufsen.com?TId=41977640073 Sorry, the questions are german only and don´t chane with the country chosen.

I just surfed to bang-olufsen.com. After being redirected to beosound5.com I went again to their original page and got invited to an online survey focusing on "luxury products".The question were sometimes a little bizarre, at least for my taste. But maybe you should try out for yourself. Something is definitely going on. You might think it

Not to forget: component hifi could at least be stacked neatly upon another, especially the lengendary 5xxx/6xxx/7xxx series. But this?! It looks awful together / besides any other current beosound.
