I've got a bet with my local dealer that no new products will be available to take home before Christmas. How safe is my money? Ian

Hello, I have a BV6-26 connected to a Apple TV (1), and a Panasonic DVD recorder which for my current habits is OK, but I will need to upgrade at some pont in the future (HD, HDMI, Blu-Ray, etc), and today I think I discovered a first pointer into that direction: I have previously only used the ATV for my music and movie trailers, but today I went to

Hello all, I may sell my BeoVision 1 soon, and I'm after some advice on what a realistic eBay sale price would be: It is black (type 8633) with a motorised floor stand (although a friend has a table stand which I could swap), it has the pin code and ML and is from around 2002-2004 (I think). Condition is excellent, and I would list it without a

Hi, I'm after an original (UK/English) manual for a BeoSound 3000 (the one with the larger clamper - If that makes a difference?). I've downloaded the PDF copy on Beoworld but would like an original copy if anybody has one? Thanks, Ian

Thank you Vienna, this solved the problem. The TV was bought used and although it came with a manual it stated the play timer was within the TV options (which is where I have always seen it), but the manual is obviously not correct for the Avant type, and I never noticed the button by the display. I had no problems using a bv1 in an identical

My parents have lost the sound when playing a DVD on their 28 DVD Avant. The sound is fine when watching normal/digital TV (so speakers are OK), but only silence when a DVD is played. Picture wise the DVD is fine. Could this be the beginning of the end for the DVD mech? or have they fiddled with an option somewhere? (I had a look in the menu but couldn't

A friend of mine has a UK (so Region 2) DVD 2 and wants to make it multi-region so he can watch R1 DVD's - Can this be done? If so, I'll bet it's not cheap or easy? Thanks Ian

Never seen this done!: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bang-Olufsen-B-O-BeoVision-10-Custom-Mirror-UNIQUE-/250670886217?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Home_Garden_Mirrors&hash=item3a5d262d49 I think it looks pretty cool, and is certainly in keeping with the BV10 'artwork' marketing theme. Ian
