I have B&O here in Switzerland, in a California property, and in a property in Brasil. 220v, 110v, and 230v. Most of my equipment originated in Europe. Why not just utilze an inexpensive ( $ 40 USD ) voltage up/down convertor ?

Regarding the BS 5 encore: I download quite a bit from a number of sources online, and my Home Theatre PC is connected via Beoport to the entire system. One recent album ( LEBEN by SCHILLER ) was not available anywhere legitimate online as a download. It was only available ( fortunately here in Switzerland ) from a CD seller on Ebay. Same with other

I experienced this with a PC and an IPAD 2. It may be your IPAD: Try and disconnect it if you can and see if the humming and ticking sound stops.

My experience with one run of two 20M Powerlink cables a few years ago was that the sound was a little " noisy " at first. I moved two appliances nearby ( a television and an SSB radio ) and that did not solve the sound quality. We have much electronics around here. I then ran hard silicone conduit with the Powerlinks inside, and that solved
