• Re: Beosystem 8000....25 years late!

Tim has worked on lots of my stuff and I would recommend him to you. I would send everything to him. He did a cracking job on my BM8000 and BG8002. I use Beovox Pentas with my 8000 system and I know you'll not be disappointed when everything is up and running :)

You won't be using an MMC20CL on an 8002! MMC1/2/3/4/5 all the way :)

I've always found it incongruous that one the one hand people buy in to a luxury AV brand that is synonymous with good design and sophistication, yet on the other are so prickly when it comes to the interiors that these products are placed within. I was wandering down memory lane the other day and recalling how back in 1985 my parents bought me

  • JET Present 607K

Due to space constraints I am having to part with my lovely JET Present 607K valve radio. Avid Beoworlders will remember this set from Martin (Dillen's) restoration thread nearly five years ago on this forum. Not much else to say about the set other than it works perfectly and sounds great, and would be a great addition to any collection. For sale
When I bought my BV7-40 and it broke (twice!), the dealer lent me an old BV7-32. It was incredible how small it seemed in the room. Just couldn't get used it it - but there again, perhaps I'm uneducated and need to get out jogging with Tod.
I lived in a similar property in Sheffield a few years ago. The

Well done! There's nothing better than a full 8000 system. Get a CDX to use with it. From memory I have a DIN to RCA adaptor as the Tape 2 input, unlke Tape 1, only has a DIN and not DIN + RCA inputs. I've been using a full 8000 system with a CDX for about 5 years now with no complaints :) If you know someone who can work on it then you should
Even though it is placed in a normal sized room,I considered my large screen TV not only made the viewing experience far more enjoyable, but subtitles far easier to read, but apparently all the time I have been an uneducated chav placing more emphasis on the TV than people. Still, things could be worse. I might be judgmental
Well, the broadcasts and gaming consoles are increasing the need for bigger screens. As I only have a 28'' LX I notice this. Watching a soccer game, they show half the field. On a big screen it's OK, but I'm having problems with small players and even smaller ball. This has made me watch much less sports
