We're moving next week and have been busy buying some new pieces: First up is this minty 1960s Guy Rogers sofa bed finished in Harris tweed. Then we've got this 'C' range chest of drawers by Stag, designed by John and Sylvia Reid. And this lovely desk. Should look nice with my iMac and a Beolit on it!

Yes. You connect the Cona to any normal passive amp and then connect the speakers to the Cona. The Cona has a crossover inside and sends the higher frequencies to the smaller speakers. You lot should try driving some BMC/BL products if you want to talk about reliability! Some of the tales of design incompetence are legendary, like my old TR6 with a high-pressure fuel injection pump based on a windscreen wiper motor, or the Rover SD1 spray shop extractor fans that blew rather than sucked, or the appalling build quality of anything
