I understand that a new version f the BV 8-40 is about to come out. Does anybody know anything about the improvements it will have over the MK I and when it will be available? I would like to know as I was about to buy my BV-8 but might put it off if the new type will be around soon.

I have for sale my Beovision 6 type 9250 as I am replacing it with a Beovision 8. Unit is from 2005 and is fitted with DSS module and wall bracket. I also have a HD upgrade module for it boxed that I haven't got around to fitting. All documentation included. Please mail me for pictues and more info. For collection only. I am located in The Netherlands

That's what i was afraid of. Might have to go for the BV-8 40 or BV-10 40 in that case.

I have the same Tv and run a Apple TV to the BV6 with a HDMI to DVI cable. You have to make a separate connection for sound to the TV. I assume this will also work with a blue ray player if it has a separate analog sound output or you use the YPBR connectors.
I have been living in Mexico for 20 years, in Mexico we pay bribes for every thing, whom may i bribe to get a price
I would have thought Mexico style was more along the lines of: "I know where you live.., so give me the prizes or else!"
