my beomaster 5000 has an annoying habit of switching itself off. sometimes after just a few seconds, other times it can run for half hour or more. mostly does it on tp 1 tp2 and aux settings, but not very often on tuner. anyone had similar problems?.

had a nice pair of s80.2s on e bay. was only asking £50 opening bid, no offers, i dont believe it. was only selling them cos i ve got two spare pairs. hope all the watchers get endless seconds of pleasure from their £150 oojie makoojie 1000s that they ve rushed down to comet/ dixon/ powerhouse to buy instead. what has the world come to?

ok, who has an opinion on this one?. i am looking for opinions on what would be the best matching stand alone cd player to go with a beomaster 6000, and s80.2 combo.Credit to the technics player which is doing a pretty good job at present, but lets be honest, its not B&O is it? happy holidays one and all....alex

volume is ok up to setting 10, then very slowly struggles up to 20, but only on the presets. there is no adjustment at all on manual adjustment. actually, when i press volume up, the led light goes down. the motor doesnt shut off either. any of you experts able to diagnose? or if anyone can recommend anyone who might be able to fix, would be most grateful

no,i didn t change capacitors, i tend to go with the if it ain t broke dont fix it theory, i can run at fairly indecent volumes, and still maintain the quality of sound i love, so i took the view that everything is pretty hunky dory. thanks for your input
