  • Two STB's: PS3 + Another STB-C doesn't work

Hi, I have a problem with the following setup: BV4-50 with Beosystem2 (SW16.2, STB-C table 4.11). PS3 Slim connected to AV (or DECODER) via SCART on the Beosystem2. IR lead via a Nyko BluWave (connected via USB on the PS3) to the IR-out jack on the Beosystem2. PS3 as the only STB --> OK If I select the PS3 as the only one STB (V-AUX) either on AV

  • BeoLink Passive + 6 Ohm speakers (in stead of 8 Ohm)

Most modern amplifiers can handle 4-8 Ohms. The output of the BeoLink passive is (only) 8 Ohms. Does anyone know if I can also connect 6 Ohm speakers to it ?

  • Re: Hard Drive capacity for Beomedia.....can it be upgraded?

It's a quite easy technical upgrade. A couple of years ago, I did the upgrade from a 80GB hard drive to a 250GB. Please note that the Beomedia software is installed on one of the partitions of the hard drive, so you need to 'clone' the old hard drive to the new one. If necessary, you can enlarge the partitions afterwards (with hard drive

  • Dead Avant tube, long live the speakers ?

Hi, I was wondering if I still could use the speakers (and maybe some electronic parts) from an old Avant with a defective tube and use the speakers as a stand-alone solution (like i.e. beolab 4000). Anyone any experience with this? Kurt.

  • Re: Beomedia INside and Out

Well, you can use a Beolink PC2 in stead of the 'masterlink PCI card' and connect the Beolink PC2 to one of the USB ports of the VIA EPIA M II motherboard. That's how I did it (3 years ago).

  • Re: Beosystem 2 MK III

Hi, You can upgrade the STB-C table chip to the latest version (which is from may 2008). There are different versions available. Choose the one that fits your needs and/or depending on the region where you live: 4.00 (North Europe) 4.01 (West Europe) 4.02 (Central Europe) 4.03 (South Europe) 4.04 (Asia) You'll find the complete list of the different

  • Re: Ervaring nieuwe STB-C lijst i.c.m. de Topfield 55x0/77x0 - PS3

Hey Beobuddy, Ik heb ondertussen gevonden hoe je de PS3 kan uit zetten via de Beo4, maar hoe krijg je hem weer aan ? Is hiervoor een speciale toetsencombinatie nodig ?

  • BV4-50 and 2 different STB-C tables

We are watching satelite and normal TV. My BS2 + BV4-50 setup is well integrated with a satelite decoder currently available in the built-in STB-C controller list (table 3.61). We are watching cable TV via the normal TV plug and the built-in tuner of the BS2. The cable provider is trying to convince me (very hard) to switch from analog TV to digital
