I have had great service from both Nottingham and Derby, I did see a very nice Beolit that Derby had rebuilt using doner parts which looked mint and Andy (Dealer Principle) was justifiably proud of. Repair may be expensive as boards rather than componants seem to be replaced these days. (Avoid the TV repair place on Tamworth Road, Long Eaton!) Regards

I have fitted an ariel amplifier to distribute sky and and FM signal around the house at my parents, the amplifier indicated a short on the Beomaster ariel input, I checked it with a continuity test, I get a clear mono signal but I am unable to receive stereo without a lot of hiss. (£ element ariel on the roof but semi rural location) when I got

Around 1973 Stringers in Wickersley and Hastings in Rotherham, I remember looking at the elegent turntables and receivers with slide rule cursors, I was at school with Phillip Stringer which was handy.
