    Don't think I've ever seen a a pair for less than £250 and they're more usually this sort of money Beolab-2500-active-speakers But if you can stretch to whatever you can find a pair for then yes, wasti is absolutely right - this would be a very good, simpler and aesthetically more pleasing option!     Hi JONNIE You're going to struggle somewhat with a budget of £200. That certainly rules out any active speakers (speakers that have their own amplifier built in) such as the Beolab 4 and Beolab 4000. On the Passive side (speakers that use a seperate amp) you could go for a pair of CX50 or CX100 and use an amp - either a B&O MCL2P or another

    Well, after posting last week that these are like hen's teeth, I spotted these 3 hours before the auction ended and was very sorely tempted to bid....however SWMBO might have drawn the line at having 2 pairs in the house Anyway I think someone got a bargain - if all they need is refoaming it's an awful lot of speaker for £155! - hope it
