mine is 32,2 cm high, sorry It is easy to scratch the alu-surface if you try to push them in.

Thanx for all the tips, but nothing seems to help my tired Avant. Spoke with a dealer who told me that they never had ANY problem like mine with the Avant RF........ any other suggestions of things I could/should try????

Thanx Graham Tryed everything, even short-circuit the service socket, as in the service-manual, with no luck...... btw Send my congras to Mrs Vikinger,

My Avant 32RF will not start after some weeks rest. It has been connected all the time, but yesterday it would not turn on. The red stand-by dot is on, but it would not respond to any Beo4-commands. The vtr has power - as you can load and eject tapes. Any a ideas anyone......

Sorry for not replying your mail, haven´t had the time to check my Avant at home. But I pretty sure that I have STB-chip "Western Europe Version 4.11" with both Apple Remot and my DTV-Samsung.
