I recently freed my living room of all the cabling that can be seen in my other pictures. I needed to run a Masterlink cable to my bedroom/office and my kitchen, and decided to run all the cables in the floor panels, or whatever they're called. Trying to think ahead I also fitted a HDMI cable so I don't have to do it all over when I one day

My "office", where I recently fitted my BL3's previously used as rear speakers in my living room. I still need to fit all the cables underneath the table, so it can't be seen.

I had a couple of BL3's connected to my Avant as BL8000's, and they played wonderfully, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Is the Decoder scart socket set in the menuon the Avant?? If it is and you are sure that you have chosen the right "channel" on the Avant, then turn on the PS3 by pressing and holding the on/off button until it beeps a second time.
which model Avant do you have ? did they fit Digital Coaxial inputs on all the Avant TV's ?? I cannot find it on my Avant :-(
I have a 32" RF DVD model. I don't know if all Avant has this, but mine has 2 digital inputs, one for the V.Tape Scart socket and one for the AV Scart socket. They are

I assume the Digital input on the BV9 is Coaxial like on the Avant. For my Avant I use this adaptor to convert the audio from my PS3: Converter
It´s a Mac Book Pro, maybe 1,5 years old. Are you saying there is an easyer way than to use the DVI to HDMI sollution?
I'm afraid not. Mac sucks when it comes HDTV connection because they refuse to use the HDMI standard or to incorporate sound in their newer Macs with mini-displayport. In your case DVI
