• Re: What was your first B&O purchase and why did you purchase?

The first bit of B&O I bought was a Beocom 6000. I have no idea why really. I was 16/17 at the time and lived at home, and I have never been the big blabbermouth, but I guess it was the cheapest way to get my hands on some B&O. After that I haven't bought anything but B&O, kind of expensive hobby

  • Re: Alternative surround options?

Peter Pan from the danish forum has a lot of threads about connecting Beolabs to non-Beo equipment. You can try and google translate his thread for full info. Some of the text is embedded in the pictures though, but if you want I can translate it for you. To recap some of it, a cable like this can be made: Here a powerlink MK.III plug is seen where

Around 7500EUR is also the price I've heard from a dealer. This will be without the anti-glare screen which will be approx. 940EUR as I understood.

  • Re: ANNOUNCEMENT -- Update to Forum

What I miss in this forum, and also missed in the old one, is: 1: The possibility to be taken to the newest unread post in a thread. As it is now I can read it from the beginning or the very latest post, but it can't show me the first post after my last visit. 2: Some links in the bottom of each thread to take me back to the forum that the thread
Thanks, I will look it up. Do you also know how to connect the speakers in a surround system? Do I have to have one cable for each speaker(parallell) or can they be connected in series? One Powerlink-cable from the tv or 6 in a 5.1 setup?
You can only connect the front speakers in series, and the rear speakers

  • 2 Joel/Dinalight Beo4 operatable light dimmers for sale

I have 2 light dimmers from Joel for sale, pictures and features can be seen on the pictures below. One has never been used, the other have been hanging on my ceiling and only been used via a Beo4. I was thinking about 50£ + shipping, for both of them.
