• Re: Playstation 3 problem

Try turning on the PS3 by holding the power button pressed, until you hear a second "chime". This will force the PS3 to send out picture on all connections. I don't know if this will work in your situation, as you describe having picture on the other connections, but it's worth a try.

I will quote Roger, who was very helpful, when I was looking for a used BV9, and told me about the different models:
You can not go wrong with any of them. The mkI was the only 720p version, but as most stuff transmitted still is 720p or 1080i the need for the later 1080p can be debated. With the mkII came the 1080p panel
Hello Jarmin, Thanks for the information. Yes, the beovision 9 seems heavy. So, are you happy with yours? The sound and image are good?
I bought a BeoVision 9 a year ago to replace my Avant. I was afraid that I would feel I had spend to much money on a TV, that wasn't exactly new, but every time, and I do

  • Re: Apple TV PUC

Well I couldn't wait until tomorrow I found a Samsung BD-Player/HD-Recorder, the previous owner of my TV had installed, and I can now control my ATV from my Beo4. Awesome
Or, just use any old device that is in your PUC table, and let Apple TV learn the codes same as you would teach it to work off a third party remote
You won't believe how stupid you make me feel I have had my ATV2 for over 6 months, and I am to cheap to pay my B&O dealer to update the PUC list in my BV9

  • Re: Beo5 direct control of AppleTV and PS3

Thanks for your replies, guys. I really appreciate to hear from people with experience. From what I read a lot of people does not use their Beo5, and the person that I bought my BV9 from, actually chose to have a Beo4 delivered with it instead of the Beo5. The reason why I want it to control my devices directly is because a used Beo5 is cheaper than
Hi Toubro, Yes - you can directly control the Apple TV and your PS3's IR-to-Blue-Tooth converter with your Beo5. You will, of course, need the XML files for the commands for each of these devices, along with the Beo5 Config tool to set up your Beo5 to control them. Cheers, Matthew
Thank you very much. • Re: Beo5 direct control of AppleTV and PS3

    Thanks for your reply.
From your TV you need the Apple Remote PUC and the PS3 RE-BL PUC.
By the PUC do you mean that your TV is receiving the IR and sending it to the devices?? Or is it because the PUC contains the IR codes?? Beacuse what I'm after is to go around the TV and control the devices via IR directly

  • Beo5 direct control of AppleTV and PS3

Is it correct that the Beo5 can be programmed to control the Apple TV and the RE*BL box for the PS3 directly using IR? If so, does this go for all Beo5's or only a certain range? If this is possible, I would like to be able to program it myself. I suppose this will be no trouble, if I just have the correct software, which is available elsewhere
