  • Re: Anyone want to build their own iPod/Beo integration?

Hello, Can you be more specific on what the datalinkconnection means? Does that mean that you can control the ipod via the BM-master and even from a linkroom? Maybe I build an ipoddock, not in an old beocord, but in some nice clear plexi. That will also nice fit my white BM... :-) Kind regards Joost Gent (B)

  • Re: A new High End Penta!

Hi, Very nice project. I think if you combine this with the modification of the condensators, suggested by Die Bogener on the old forum, this should be even more impressing! PS 1: what kind of Icepower amplifier do you use? PS 2: any tips on removing the cover of the penta, without risking to damage the display? kind regards Joost

  • Re: BM 7000 - sudden decay in IR reception

Hello, I've tested the BM without other components, but the problems were the same. I've exchanged the Philips capacitors on the display board and that fixed the thing for the one way communication (Beolink 1000). But for the two-way communication (Beolink 7000) the symptoms stay almost the same. Is it possible that the Philips capacitors on

PS Martin, what's the issue with a BM in a link system? Are there risks of damaging the BM? Joost

  • Re: BM 7000 - sudden decay in IR reception

Hello, thanks Andie and Martin for the input. Well, the issue is the same with the BL 7000 and 2 BL 1000. That's why I suspect the BM. The BL 7000 gives a 'no contact', even when it's in the chargestand, while before the BL 7000 displayed all the 2 way information, when it was at the same place. So, that's why I don't suspect

  • BM 7000 - sudden decay in IR reception

Hello, All of a sudden the IR reception on my BM 7000, one way and two way, has diminished. All the functions still work, but I have to aim close to the BM, especially for two way reception. I'm not aware of any new device in the house that could cause interference. The battery is still ok. Could one of the IR-diodes have perished? Kind regards

  • Re: Clockupgrade CD 7000

Hello Martin, Thanks again for the good and wise advice. But, being young and enthousiastic, I already bought the XO-2 and installed it a few days ago (without the XO-supply until now). I can't say that I yet hear a world of difference. I'll give it some time.. The sound was already very good after the modifications you suggested. I used some

  • Re: Clockupgrade CD 7000

Hallo, Obviously, I've done something wrong, because my previous reply didn't pass the moderator... :-( I've called Tentlabs in the Netherlands and they knew the problem. They'll send me a scheme with the sollution. When I receive it, I'll try to post it on the forum (I don't know how to post images, but I'll try...). If

Hello Martin, I don't have a real 'plan' and as I don't succeed in publishing pictures on this forum, I only can give the links to the site of Tentlabs with the information Tentlabs XO2 low jitter clock: http://www.tentlabs.com/Products/cdupgrade/xo2xo3/index.html Tentlabs XO supply: http://www.tentlabs.com/Products/cdupgrade/xosupply
