Well, In my version is wasn't difficult. The LC just has one side that goes in the powersocket in the wall and on the other side you can put the powersocket of the lamp. The LC1 only works with classical light bulbs. kind regards Joost

Hi Martin, Thanks. Now I feel a bit less miserable. I'm a building engineer for life... That explains a lot, I think Is there a chance that I could revive my black LC1? I think/hope that the touchpanelside isn't damaged. But the 220V side is heavly burned. I'm afraid a lot of SMDs are melted, but the fuse survived.. kind regards Joost

Hello Martin, I checked the fuse and it looked ok. But, as you know, I'm an apprentice in this kind of things and I'm so ashamed, but when I tried to measure things out, I made a short-circuit in the LC.... a bang, a lightflash and now a black LC1.. :-(. I shouldn't be in the Workbench-section, but in the schoolbench-section I guess....

Hello Martin, Thanks for the quick advice. It were indeed the displaycovers that bothered me. I'll give it a try on a rainy sunday :) kind regards Joost

Hello, My LC 1 died all of a sudden :-(. I suspect one of the capacitors has suffered from heat and age. But it hard to access the LC1. If've removed the bottom and a second screw, by which I hoped the body would slide out of the case, but that isn't so. I don't dare to force the nice little thing. Has anybody some advice? Kind regards Joost

Hello, I've done the amplifier and crossover mods and with great result. But can anybody give me some hint on how to remove the frets of the pentas so I can access the drivers? I've read on several post that the display often don't survive this operation.. :-( Kind regards Joost Declercq Gent (B)

@Ridax: Is the post still alive? I'm wondering about the datalinking (see my PM to you). How can it be done? I didn't see that connector on your partslist. Kind regards Joost Declercq Gent

Hello outthere, Thanks for the enthousiastic proposals. As I'm close to my honeymoon, a picture of the RIAA in the BM will not make it before christmas :-). But when that's over, I'll be able to dive again into my BM and have a look at the RIAA. Kind regards Joost, Belgium

@Die_bogener "Die kleine Platine im Vordergrund ist der RIAA Vorverstärker, das Ziel unserer Wünsche. Wer den nicht drin hat, alles wieder zuklappen..." I bit disappointing for my, while I have coupled a beograam 5500 to my BM7000, so I have an RIAA integrated in my BM. Is it worth to do some mods on the RIAA in the BM or is this

Hello, @Ridax: I'm considering to give it a try to build my own dock. I'v been looking around on your site, but I don't find all the components. Can you give a list of what is needed to make an IR and datalink controled ipoddock? Thanks Kind regards Joost, Belgium
