I would love to have that BM2000 but I can't accommodate another Beogram (two, one still in box on the floow as I have no place for it), and I wouldn't dare to break this combo. Or... ?
One question though, the square part of your speakers seems to be white? (--) Btw, when are we invited
I was just wondering the same (the color I mean, not if we're being invited or not!) Anyway that setup looks awesome, Andreas! I have a pair of BL3000's and have never seen or heard 5000's live.
I was just informed that Helvar-Celeston, the finnish company, had a quite intensive cooperation with Bang & Olufsen from 1962-68. Several of B&O's models were produced in Finland under the Helvar-Celeston brand. The Stereomaster (Beomaster 900K) of this thread being one of them.
Where did you get

Er, a software update to which device? I have a complete 7000 system and the remote won't show the cd-track numbers over 14 on the top row display.

The originals were Sanyo Cadnica 1.2v 700mAh, new ones were (by surprise) also Sanyo Cadnica, this time 1100 mAh. Even higher capacity ones were available but out of stock at the time I bought them. Has been working

I secured the joint with as much epox as I could fit. I assembled the decks and cleaned it up and now it looks very good and plays nicely. The platter is not exactly clean but goes. For some reason the Beogram seems to need much more volume than other sources. I need to raise the volume to around 30 for a listening volume whereas other sources do nicely

Thanks, Martin. Even superglue seems to hold the bearing in place pretty well, I took the platter and flywheel on and off several times and it held. It was highly frustrating fault-finding as I had no idea where the scraping was coming (around the flywheel) and it wasn't easy to locate the source of noise when the platter was off. First I thought

I bought a Beogram 7000 from eBay (to finish my 7000 system - now complete!!). It arrived in original box and neatly packed, platter separately packed etc. Unfortunately there is a problem. Right from the moment I put the platter on, it felt like wobbling. The main shaft (marked in the picture attached) seems to be loose. By hand I can turn it about
