Beocenter 1400 was my first B&O I had! Still have it but it's in storage (can't try removing the sides). I seem to remember that the side panels just pull off. I think I did it by hand and from the bottom side (rather than from the top).

I also find a photo of the insides or my RV7. Unfortunately the photo is not especially a good one, but clearly there is just one resistor, too.

I have a RV7, too. I managed to find a parts list and from the internet. I'll try to find it again and post a link. EDIT: That wasn't too easy! Here is the parts list. I am not quite sure about the resistor in question, the PCB layout shows there should be two resistors, R1 (10 ohm, 0,33W) and R2 (0...220 ohm, 0,33W) connected in parallel, whereas

How are the switches set? There is a switch (near the connectors) to change between powerlink left and right and RCA.

Some thoughts on this topic here . I would be interested in such a list, too.

Pretty much clean and seems to be working nicely, haven't done much testing. One should -naturally- have a proper B&O tool like this when working with any kind of B&O equipment! Any ideas when these

Yeah, it was good service, but yours, Steffen was even better by your description! The fact they admitted that they "should have found the fault in the first time" shows really high standard by the service center/repair man. I must say: listening to music is again fun! Simplicity and quality; I really suffered when the BM was away! Now, after

I did some more testing. I tried several combinations of the test points but to little avail. I was able to keep the display on, BUT it was rather useless: after the normal "display on" period the battery low -indication (display texts blink) starts and the display won't update after that. Pressing status again updates the display (again
