I want to add my thanks to Martin as well. He has generously provided information and advice to me and countless others, and the speaker capacitor kits that I’ve purchased from him have a value far beyond the very reasonable price that he charges. The only thing I could ask in addition is that he come to the U.S. for a few months every year to

I'm looking for a pair of the silver trumpet stands for the M70 speakers. If anyone in the U.S. or Canada has a pair available please contact me. Thanks, John

Thanks for the tip. It's good to know that quality service is available in the U.S. for some B&O products. I've frequently envied the resources available to those in Britain and continental Europe. Speaking of that, do any U.S. members know of anyone who can do quality repairs on equipment such as Beogram turntables and CD players and Beomaster

Hello - I have a Beomaster 5000, through which I play a Beogram 1800 turntable (with RCA plugs), and a Beomaster 5500, through which I play a Beogram 4002 turntable (with a 5-pin DIN plug). Within the past few weeks the receiver has started to transmit a high-pitched noise whenever I adjust the volume. The sound comes from both speakers, and lasts only

Well, this is a pleasant and unexpected surprise. It's a beautifully designed keyring. I have a Beosystem 5500. If I read the A9 product description right, I can control it with the keyring. Wonderful. Thanks for the prize, and for all the good wishes. John

Thanks for the information, Friedmett and Jeff. Enjoy your BeoGram 4000 when it arrives, Jeff. John

Regarding my post of September 14, my concern was only the cost of the international shipping, not the repairs. I know that Martin's work is superlative and worth every cent - and more. I checked the FedEx and DHL sites for shipping rates and learned that it would cost from US$200 to US$300 (136 to 205 Euros) to ship a twenty-pound (nine kilogram

Jeff - I'm considering sending a CD-50 to Martin for repairs. I live in the U.S. (New York State). What carrier did you use? Was it outrageously expensive? Thanks, John

Thanks for all the prompt and informative responses. John
