  • Re: Beomaster 6000 Volume struggling!!

Hi I had the same problem with mine, I opened it up, as you have done, slipped the belt off (which as you may know you cant remove it completely) and carefuly cleaned the belt and the pullies with a damp cloth with some very mild fairy liquid on it. This worked for me, when I say very mild fairy, I mean a couple of drops in a full basin of warm water

Really?................. I have an old pair of C75's and they look very different from this, I have seen some pics of Cx100's before and don't recall them looking like this. So am I right in thinking the drivers are held in only by the resin/glue?

Wings: I was in the B&O shop today and had a look at the BS-6. It is light and lacks the "heft" of the BS-2. My other initial impressions were that: 1. it appears intended for use by right-handed people as I had difficulty using the volume control with my left hand, unlike the BS-2 2. for me, the control buttons of the BS-6 did not have

  • Beomedia 1

Hi All, Can anyone answer a few questions re the beomedia 1 What is the HD capacity? Does it work with non B&O TV's? Does the TV have to be LCD? How does it connect to the TV and HIFI i.e. which cables? To use it in other rooms, do you need a TV in each room to navigate your music? How does it compare to some of the wireless streaming systems

This sounds awful like the problem I have with my BC9000, its as if when cold it cant read the cd, and like you say, after about 15 - 20 attempts it reads and plays no problem after that. My BC9000 can also be very picky with what it plays, it does not like most cdr's, which I dont have many of anyway. I brought this up several times on the old

  • Feasability study

How feasible would it be to make the following mod to a BC9000 Remove the tape carrier, replace with the ipod dock from "say" the Phillips portable dvd player, or maybe something similar fabricated out of aluminium. Wire it up with the ridex cable etc so that the ipod charges, plays and is controlled by your B&O remote. To take it to the
