My beloved Beomaster 2000 purchased in 1975 is in need of new light bulbs and a tuning string. Both of the local dealers have declined to repair as the unit is older than they are ! I live in the East Midlands area of the UK, does anyone reading this know of an enthusiast who could under take the repair who is reasonably local. I have the schematics

Hello all, I have just installed V5.0 seems OK except that the playlists set up by colour only accept 9 titles each. My existing playlists are okay (with dozens of files per playlist). Is this a limitation of the software or have I found a bug. I am using XP Service pack 3. I installed by repair option then a full clean install. Thanks for any response

Brilliant thread.... not laughed so much for a long time. What's the old 1st world war joke.. junior officer at the front line tells a messenger to go to the General and say "send re-inforcements, I am going to advance". Transported an Avant 200 miles. I part inflated a LiLO in the back of the B Class and put the unit face down onto soft coverings to protect the finish from the LiLo fabric. Worked a treat. Not being Peter or Craig, please excuse my comment I use CX100's as PC speakers and I am very settled with them, both esthetically and performance wise. Prior to installing them I tried S30, P45, BL4000 - The problem with them was size. All had to be spaced

Hello murbeck If I close down my computer whilst N.Radio or N.Music is active it can leave my BS3000 switched on (though not playing music). Just a thought, clearly doesn't apply if you don't use Beoport. Gordon

PL212: The only thing I'll say about the Serenta is this: who on earth thinks that the "Bang & Olufsen" name should be so close to SAMSUNG? The same problem with the Serene -- it's just ridiculous to have the two brands next to each other, juxtaposed. It would be one thing if B&O's name was positioned clearly as the designer

David: I totally agree. We use the Showcase Cinema in Nottingham and the sound quality is shocking. Buzzing side speakers and missing center channels. My wife loves going to the cinema but I am beginning to hate it. Far too much distraction. Would much rather be a t home with my B&O. I use the same cinema and concur. Sound usually far too loud
